CWP On-Line Renewal

The On-Line Renewal Process now requires CWP Holders to create an on-line account with S.L.E.D.

To set up the account you will need a valid e-mail address in order to receive a verification code, before you can start.

You will also need a digital copy of your Valid Government ID, to be Uploaded during the renewal process.

*(There is also an option in the to submit the copy of your valid SC Drivers License or Government Issued ID by Mail.

To create an account go to the following web address: https://sled.sc.gov/concealed-weapons-permit

Select: CWP Applications Online Help This step by step guide to Setup your Account and for renewing your CWP on-Line is provided by (SLED) the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

If the CWP has been expired for an excessive period of time, you will be notified if your renewal is delayed after completion of the renewal application. You can also log into your account to check the status of your renewal. If you are notified of a delay in processing you may have to contact SLED for assistance. (Contact Phone Number is located at the end of these instructions.)

There is no fee for CWP Renewal.
